Australian Youth Circuit #3 (AYC#3) is coming to Adelaide, September 9-10!
The AYC is a series of national-level events for Under 15 ("Youth") fencers, hosted in various cities around Australia throughout the year. It's Adelaide's turn in September! Click here to read more.
Any fencer eligible to fence in Under 15 competition can enter (i.e. aged 14 and younger on the 1st January 2023). Fencers must also be at youngest 10 years old on 1 January 2023. i.e. born in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012.
How to enter?
As this is a National event, entries are managed by the Australian Fencing Federation (AFF). Enter via this page.
You will need to have a competition licence with FencingSA to be eligible to enter. For our state-level Under 15 competitions you only need a Participative licence, so you will need to upgrade your licence type to compete if you fall in this category. Upgrading is a manual process and can take a few business days to complete. To do this please email publicofficer@fencingsa.org.au to request to upgrade your licence. We recommend you do this as soon as possible, to make sure your upgrade is processed and validated in time to enter the competition.
How do you check your licence type? It's right there at the top of your FencingSA member profile page: https://www.fencingsa.org.au/account/
Volunteers are required for Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September.
We will need volunteers to help with equipment control, setting up, packing up, first and and camera operating. Please CLICK HERE to sign up and help our state create a great event for our visiting states.
Referees - will be managed by the AFF. If you are refereeing at State Level and want to give this a go - email Darren Ferguson (referees@fencingsa.org.au) and he will help liaise with the AFF.
