In accordance with the policy introduced by the Australian Fencing Federation requiring verification of age for entry into national events, FencingSA has elected to introduce age verification for state events.
This is to ensure fair and safe competition and that all fencers are competing in the appropriate age groups.

Additional method for Age Verification process
Our initial process of verification in-club and at competitions has been successful so far and we will continue to offer this method, however now we have included the ability to verify online.
From your profile page select 'Proof of Age' and upload your document for review.
We (FencingSA) and our membership platform (RevolutioniseSPORT) will not retain copies of, or store any of our members’ personal documentation. Once a document has been reviewed and your recorded age has been verified, the document is automatically deleted from the system. For additional security of your data, unreviewed documents are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Fencers who do not wish to upload a document will still have the opportunity to have your age manually verified at a competition, or specific club visit from a Board Member.
Age verification only needs to be completed once. The verifier will mark this as complete in our membership database and this will remain as verified on your profile (only visible to admins).
The Fencing SA Board will make this compulsory from 2025 and further communications will be issued closer to the 2025 competition season.
