HIGH PERFORMANCE SQUADThe FSA High Performance Squad (HPS) is the peak representative group for Fencing South Australia. It includes fencers from across age groups, genders and weapons. It is selected at the beginning of each calendar year to prepare for and represent South Australia at national events. The selection criteria are developed to encourage and advance fencers who maintain a commitment to improvement in their performance by entering competitions at the national level. | JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT CAMPThe Junior Development Camp is a two to three day intensive fencing camp held at Scotch College during the school holidays and caters to a range of skills levels; from beginner through intermediate to advanced. The camp is ideal for beginners wishing to compete in the Schools League competition or for more experienced fencers who want to prepare for the Under 15 and Cadet Nationals in Sydney in July. | SCHOOL TEAMSLEAGUEFencing SA runs a school-age team foil competition on Thursday evenings in Terms 2 and 3. This is the fifth year of the competition which has grown steadily each year. The competition is open to teams of foil fencers who are attending primary or secondary school. |
